Traci Davis and Vicki Holleman-Perez each have two beautiful children of their own, so it’s not difficult for them to imagine what happens when medical crises strike at the heart of a family. Which is why, for the entire month of March, the co-authors are donating one dollar from every copy of their book sold to the Joseph Thomas Foundation.
The foundation was created by John and Erin Thomas after their son Joseph, who was born with dwarfism, autism, and tracheal difficulties, died in 2007. Donations to the organization are distributed to families who need financial support for children with severe medical issues.
